We are truly passionate about making adventure on two wheels accessible to everyone. As a reliable partner, we deliver high-quality two-wheeler tires quickly and on time. We support our retail partners as well as motorcyclists and two-wheeler enthusiasts with expertise, commitment and genuine partnership.

Vision and mission.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We strive to be the number one for two-wheel tires in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, so that people can experience and enjoy their adventures on two wheels exactly when they want to.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It only runs smoothly with us. For over 61 years.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bicycle and motorcycle tires have been the foundation of Arthur R\u00fcegg Fahrzeug-Zubeh\u00f6r AG for decades.<\/p>\n\n\n

But how did it all begin?<\/h2>
The company was founded by Arthur R\u00fcegg on November 1, 1964. Right from the start, the proactive founder dedicated himself to the two-wheeler industry and supplied specialist dealers in German-speaking Switzerland with spare parts for bicycles and mopeds.<\/div><\/div>

With passion to success.<\/h2>

When motorcycling became popular again in 1975\/76, Arthur R\u00fcegg seized the opportunity. With great dedication, he established himself as a competent contact for motorcycle tires in the following years.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Family business in its second generation.<\/h2>

The company Arthur R\u00fcegg Fahrzeug-Zubeh\u00f6r has been successfully managed by J\u00fcrg R\u00fcegg in the second generation since 1990. The company is the contact for two-wheel tires and supplies its trading partners as a wholesaler throughout Switzerland.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

New paths and structures.<\/h2>

In 1991, activities were expanded to include bicycle tires and four years later the sole proprietorship was transformed into a public limited company.<\/p>\n

In order to avoid the dreaded EDP millennium problem, generous investments were made in the areas of AGV and EDP.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Relocation.<\/h2>

Both the office and the warehouse were relocated to Dietikon (ZH) in January 1995.<\/p>\n

However, the range of tires soon became even wider and deeper, while space became increasingly scarce. The warehouse was bursting at the seams, so in 2005 the warehouse was moved to Vogelsang, Gebenstorf (AG) into a larger and more modern warehouse.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the warehouse processes were optimized and quality management was introduced.<\/p>\n

With big steps through the years.<\/h2>

Arthur R\u00fcegg Fahrzeug-Zubeh\u00f6r AG is constantly innovating and moving into the future with new ideas and concepts.<\/p>\n

2006<\/strong>\u00a0The newly introduced net prices for bicycle and motorcycle tires serve the purpose of comparability on the market.<\/p>\n

2009<\/strong>\u00a0The R\u00fcegg online shop, launched in 2004, is getting a modern redesign.<\/p>\n

2011<\/strong>\u00a0For specialized dealers, the shipping options offered will be expanded to include the \u201eSwiss-Express Innight\u201c service from Swiss Post. This allows orders, if desired, to be delivered by 7:30 AM the following morning.<\/p>\n

2012<\/strong>\u00a0Sales is being restructured with a competent in-house consulting team.<\/p>\n

2016<\/strong>\u00a0New in our range: Schwalbe bicycle tires and tubes.<\/p>\n

Luck in misfortune.<\/h2>

The coronavirus pandemic forced Arthur R\u00fcegg Fahrzeug-Zubeh\u00f6r AG to introduce short-time working for the first time in the company's history.<\/p>\n

However, this measure was soon lifted, as the two-wheeler industry experienced a real boom: many people discovered cycling and motorcycling during the pandemic - due to more free time and the Federal Council's rules of conduct.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Tire expertise for specialist dealers and end customers.<\/h2>

We reliably supply specialist dealers with two-wheel tires and are preparing to address end customers with our new web store.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Continental Motorrad import brand, we offer all leading tire and inner tube brands for two-wheelers - because only we can keep things running smoothly!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Looking ahead.<\/h2>

Since its foundation, Arthur R\u00fcegg Fahrzeug-Zubeh\u00f6r AG has consistently pursued the goal of combining innovation, quality and customer proximity. Over the years, the company has developed steadily <\/span>- technologically, structurally and strategically.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new R\u00fcegg webshop will be launched at the beginning of 2026. With state-of-the-art technology, improved user guidance and an expanded product range, we are sending a clear signal for the future of our company. The new e-commerce platform is not just a digital shop window, but a central element of our growth strategy and a further step towards digitalization and customer centricity.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
