We are passionately committed to making the two-wheeled adventure accessible to everyone. As a reliable partner, we deliver high-quality two-wheeler tyres quickly and on time. We support our trading partners, as well as motorcyclists and two-wheeler enthusiasts, with expertise, dedication, and genuine partnership.

Vision and Mission.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We aim to be the number one for two-wheeler tyres in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, so that people can experience and enjoy their two-wheeled adventures exactly when they want to.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things only run smoothly with us. For over 61 years.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For decades, bicycle and motorcycle tyres have formed the foundation of Arthur R\u00fcegg Fahrzeug-Zubeh\u00f6r AG.<\/p>\n\n\n

But how did it all begin?<\/h2>
Arthur R\u00fcegg founded the company on 1 November 1964. From the outset, the proactive founder focused on the two-wheeler sector, supplying specialist dealers in German-speaking Switzerland with spare parts for bicycles and mopeds.<\/div><\/div>

Passion for success.<\/h2>

As motorcycling gained popularity again in 1975\/76, Arthur R\u00fcegg seized the opportunity. With great commitment, he established himself as a competent point of contact for motorcycle tyres in the following years.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Second-generation family business.<\/h2>

The company Arthur R\u00fcegg Fahrzeug-Zubeh\u00f6r AG has been successfully managed by J\u00fcrg R\u00fcegg in the second generation since 1990. The company is the point of contact for two-wheeler tyres and supplies its trading partners as a wholesaler throughout Switzerland.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

New paths and structures.<\/h2>

In 1991, activities were expanded to bicycle tyres, and four years later, the sole proprietorship became a public limited company.<\/p>\n

To circumvent the dreaded IT millennium bug, generous investments were made in the areas of AGV and IT.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Moving house.<\/h2>

However, the tyre range soon became even wider and deeper, while the space for it became increasingly scarce. In 2005, due to growing space requirements, the company moved its warehouse to Vogelsang, Gebenstorf (AG), into a larger and more modern hall. At the same time, the company introduced quality management, thereby optimising its warehousing processes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Years passing by in big strides.<\/h2>

With continuous innovation, Arthur R\u00fcegg Fahrzeug-Zubeh\u00f6r AG is moving forward into the future with new ideas and concepts.<\/p>\n

2006<\/strong>\u00a0The newly introduced net prices for bicycle and motorcycle tyres are designed to promote market comparability.<\/p>\n

2009<\/strong>\u00a0The R\u00fcegg online shop, launched in 2004, is receiving a modern redesign.<\/p>\n

2011<\/strong>\u00a0For trade partners, the available shipping options will be expanded to include Swiss Post's \u201eSwiss-Express Innight\u201c service. This allows orders to be delivered as early as 07:30 the following morning, if desired.<\/p>\n

2012<\/strong>\u00a0The sales will be restructured, with a competent in-house consultancy team.<\/p>\n

2016<\/strong>\u00a0New in stock: Schwalbe bicycle tyres and inner tubes.<\/p>\n

A stroke of luck in misfortune.<\/h2>

The coronavirus pandemic forced Arthur R\u00fcegg Fahrzeug-Zubeh\u00f6r AG to introduce short-time working for the first time in its company history.<\/p>\n

However, this measure could soon be lifted, as the two-wheeler industry experienced a real boom: During the pandemic, many people discovered cycling and motorcycling for themselves \u2013 due to more free time and the Federal Council's behavioural rules.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Tyre expertise for trade and end customers.<\/h2>

We reliably supply the trade with bicycle tyres and are preparing to also target end customers with our new webshop.<\/p>\n

In addition to the imported brand Continental Motorrad, we offer all leading tyre and inner tube brands for two-wheelers \u2013 because it only runs smoothly with us!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Looking ahead.<\/h2>

Since its founding, Arthur R\u00fcegg Fahrzeug-Zubeh\u00f6r AG has consistently pursued the goal of combining innovation, quality, and customer proximity. Over the years, the company has continuously developed. <\/span>\u2013 technologically, structurally and strategically.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new R\u00fcegg webshop will be launched in mid-2026. With state-of-the-art technology, improved user guidance, and an expanded product range, we are sending a clear signal for our company's future. The new e-commerce platform is not just a digital shop window, but a central element of our growth strategy and a further step towards digitalisation and customer centricity.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
