The Aerothan inner tube is around 40% lighter than a comparable Schwalbe Extralight tube. Thanks to the newly developed material, sudden air loss is prevented. In addition, rolling resistance is minimized and ensures maximum riding dynamics. Thanks to its extreme heat resistance, the inner tube can also be used on bicycles with rim brakes. Important for off-road use: even at low air pressures, the riding behavior is still absolutely stable.
AEROTHANE TUBE RACE.
When it comes to road cycling with a tube, the Aerothan Tube Race is the first choice. It impresses with its low rolling resistance and dynamic, smooth riding dynamics.
Compared to butyl tubes, a weight saving of 100 grams or more can be achieved for the entire bike. You can rely on the Aerothan Tube Race not only for excellent puncture protection, but also when riding downhill: it remains absolutely heat-resistant even after several emergency stops in quick succession with rim brakes.

Aerothan tubes consist of 100% (including valve) made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and are therefore fully recyclable. Work is currently underway to recycle the used tubes and process them into new tubes.
